This policy covers the game Psychedelic World (Android and Windows) and this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it in plain words.
The short version. You can play without giving us anything. The game creates an anonymous account by itself, with no email and no password. You only hand over an email address if you decide to, and we never sell anything to anyone.
Psychedelic World is made by an independent developer based in Italy. For anything in this policy — questions, corrections, deletion — the contact address is hanetroberto@gmail.com.
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account identifier | Always, from the first launch | The game creates an anonymous account so your coins, characters and progress survive a restart. It has no email and no password attached. |
| Email address | Only if you choose to register | So you can use the same progress on another device. Registering is optional; the game is fully playable without it. |
| Display name | When you set one | It is the name other players see in a room and on the leaderboards. Pick anything — it does not have to be your real name. |
| Game progress | While you play | Scores, level, experience and PsyCoins, so rankings and progression work. |
| Room codes and connection data | Only in online play | To put you and your friends into the same session. Kept only while the room exists. |
| Your voice | Only in online rooms, only if you turn voice chat on, and only while you hold the talk button (T on PC, TALK on the phone) | Sent live to the other players in the same area of your room. It travels encrypted between the players' devices (through Cloudflare's relay when a direct connection is impossible, which cannot read it). It is never recorded or stored, by us or anyone else. |
| Reports | Only if you report a player | Your account identifier, the reported player's name and account identifier, the reason you picked and the room code, so a moderator can review it. |
The game does not ask for your contacts, your photos or your location. It asks for the microphone only for voice chat, and only uses it while you hold the talk button. Apart from that and the ads described below, it does not read anything else on your device.
Voice chat is off until you accept its rules: be kind, no harassment, threats, hate speech or sexual talk, and never share personal information. You can turn it off at any time in Settings. From the pause menu (PLAYERS) you can mute a player for the current room, block them (you will not hear them again, in any room; you can unblock them in Settings) or report them. Reports are reviewed, and players who break the rules can lose voice chat or online play for a period of time.
If you fill in the pre-registration form, we store the email address you type and the date. It is used for one thing: sending you the download link when the game is released. It is not passed to anyone and not used for anything else.
On Android the game can show rewarded ads, and only when you choose to watch one: for example to double the coins of a match you just finished, or to get one more try when a level is about to end. There are no banners and no ads that interrupt play. The PC version shows no ads.
The ads are served by Google AdMob. To show them, limit how often you see the same one and count them, Google's Mobile Ads SDK collects data such as your device's advertising ID, your IP address (and the approximate location it implies), device and app information, your interactions with the ads, and diagnostics, under Google's own policy.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the game asks for your consent with Google's consent form the first time, and you can change your choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy choices. On any Android device you can also reset or delete your advertising ID from the system settings.
Account and progress data is kept while the account exists. Pre-registration emails are kept until the launch mailing has been sent, and deleted afterwards. Connection data for an online room disappears with the room.
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the data tied to your account, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted entirely — including the account itself. Write to the address above and say which account it is (the display name is enough). We will act on it within 30 days.
You can also stop everything at any time by uninstalling the game: that removes the local save from your device. The server-side account stays until you ask for it to be deleted.
How to delete your account → — the exact steps, what is removed, and what stays in backups and for how long.
Psychedelic World is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will remove it.
If this policy changes in a way that matters — new data, a new purpose, a new processor — the date at the top changes and the change is described here rather than slipped in quietly.
1 October 2026 — rewarded ads on Android, served by Google AdMob: new Advertising section, Google AdMob added to the processors.
2 October 2026 — voice chat (microphone, live only, never recorded) and player reports: new rows in the table above and a new Voice chat and safety section.
