Delete your account

This page explains how to have your Psychedelic World account, and everything stored against it, permanently deleted. It applies to the Android and Windows versions of the game.

How to ask

Send an email to hanetroberto@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”.
In the message, tell us the display name you use in the game. That is the name other players see in a room and on the leaderboards, and it is enough to find your account. If you registered with an email address, send the request from that address.
We reply to confirm, and the deletion is carried out within 30 days of the request. You do not need an account, a login or a form to ask.

There is no charge, and you do not have to give a reason.

What gets deleted

Data	What happens
Account identifier	Deleted. This is the anonymous account the game creates on first launch.
Email address	Deleted, if you had registered one. Nothing is kept for marketing.
Display name	Deleted.
Game progress	Deleted: PsyCoins, unlocked characters, ships, powers, level and experience.
Leaderboard entries	Deleted, including your position in the world ranking.
Pre-registration email	Deleted, if you had signed up on this website for the launch link.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing is kept for our own use once an account is deleted. Two technical exceptions, both temporary:

Encrypted backups of the database may still contain the deleted records for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten in the normal rotation. They are not read or used in that window.
Server logs may hold a technical record of requests for up to 30 days. These do not contain game progress.

After that, nothing remains.

Deleting only the local save

If you simply want the game gone from a device, uninstalling it removes the local save — coins, characters and settings stored on that device. This does not delete the server-side account, which stays until you ask for it using the steps above.
